

Since our charter in October, 1920, William M. Batjer American Legion Post 100 in Rogers, Arkansas has been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country.
Post 100 founded the Northwest Arkansas Honor Guard to serve the surrounding communities. The Honor Guard provides Military Honors to honorably discharged or retired deceased veterans at the time of their burial, entombment or memorial. We provide a seven man rifle squad, Taps, flag presentation to the deceased's next of kin or appointed person and we will display the flag of the appropriate branch of military service. The Honor Guard also provides ceremonial rituals at public events and schools. The Honor Guard is certified by the Department of Defense and is re-certified annually. All of the Honor Guard services are free of charge. The time and operations expense is donated by the individual Honor Guard members. Donations to help defray our expenses are appreciated.
